Charlie Simpson

Charlie will be known to many as the front man of critically acclaimed rock band Fightstar and to others as lead guitarist/vocals in internationally bestselling boy band, Busted. Born in Woodbridge, Charlie hopes to raise awareness of the issues facing disabled young people and ensure they have the same opportunities and choices that were available to him as he was growing up and reach for their own goals and dreams.
Becky Jago

Becky is currently a news presenter on ITV Anglia News. She has previously worked on Newsround at the BBC and has co-presented radio shows with both Chris Tarrant and Johnny Vaughn at Capital FM. Becky is very familiar with the issues facing disabled children as both her parents worked with disabled people, some of her earliest memories are of holidaying with disabled people as a child. As a teacher, and later an OFSTED inspector, Becky's mum worked with disabled children in various Suffolk special schools for many years. Becky was thrilled to become a patron of Out & About.
Linda Hoggarth MBE
Linda Hoggarth was one of the first Trustees of Out & About having been there at the beginning in 1984 when Out & About was a small project within Suffolk PhaB. Linda served as Chairman from 1997 to 2005. She remains committed to the principle of ensuring disabled people of all ages are fully included within society and have equality of opportunity. Linda is both pleased and proud to have been asked to retain her connection with Out & About as Patron.
