Suffolk: Activities Unlimited have asked Out & About to assess the play value and accessibility of a number of district and borough council play spaces. Research has shown that disabled children and young people often do not use the play areas in their communities because of certain barriers they encounter, be they physical, social, sensory, etc.
As part of the project we are asking children and young people, or if more appropriate parents on their behalf, to tell us about their local play area by completing a questionnaire. The questionnaire offers children and young people the opportunity to say what they like to do when they play or hang out, what is actually available in their local play space and what they think of it, as well as how they think it could be improved.
Please CLICK HERE to download the questionnaire which should be emailed to bev.montague@oaa.co.uk or posted to Head Office.
