Get your walking boots on, pack a picnic and take part in the annual Orwell Walk to raise funds for disabled children and young people.

The walk takes place over some of Suffolk’s most beautiful countryside, along the banks of the River Orwell.  The route is signposted and has checkpoints every three or four miles, where drinks and toilet facilities are available.  The total length of the walk is 25 miles; however, participants can decide their own distance.
 
When:         Sunday 27th June 2010.
 
Where:        Starting at Amberfield School, Ipswich
 
Time:           7am - registration opens.
                   9am - last departure for full 25 mile route. 
            10.30am - last departure for shorter routes.
              2.00pm - last departure from any checkpoint.
 
Cost:          £2.50 adults/£1.50 under 18s (if pre-booked)
                  £5.00 adults/£2.50 under 18s (if paying on the day)
                  Please raise as much sponsorship as possible.

Extra Info:  
Dogs are not allowed on the walk. 
There is ample car parking at Amberfield School, please do not park on the street. 
Choose an appropriate walking distance to suit your own fitness level.
25% of sponsorship will be given to the Rotary Club of East Ipswich to donate to local good causes.
75% of sponsorship will be donated to Out & About.
