Five colleagues from the regional sales team at Cofunds Investment Company, completed the Reading Half Marathon and raised over £1,200 for Out & About!

Matt Newton, one of the runners said,

"I got together with 4 work colleagues to run the Reading Half Marathon and we decided to try to raise money for a worthy cause. I suggested that my colleagues raise money for Out & About, which is a local charity that my mother works for, who help involve children in day to day activities that most of us take for granted.

This is something that I feel strongly about because I have a brother who grew up with cerebral palsy and I know how important it is for all children to be involved in the same activities as their brothers, sisters and friends.

All my colleagues agreed it was for an excellent cause and it would be good to sponsor a local charity. We all completed the Reading Half Marathon in less than two and a half hours and were in a fair bit of pain for the next few days to say the least but it was worth it!"

Huge thanks go to all of the Cofunds team for raising so much money that will go a long way in supporting the work Out & About does.
