Since 1984, Out & About has led the way in including disabled children and young people in local leisure activities.
Being disabled shouldn't be a barrier to being included.
If you have some spare time on your hands, why not get involved in supporting disabled children and young people by fundraising? Fundraisers tell us it is very satisfying and they had a great time doing it. So have a look at our fundraising pages for ideas of how you can get involved.
There are many ways in which people of all ages can volunteeer for us, either by directly supporting disabled children and young people or helping with office or fundraising administration. The volunteer pages will tell you everything you need to know.
Find out about all the activities and initiatives Out & About undertake to help disabled children and young people.
Our unique delivery model enables disabled children to break through barriers, make friends and have fun in three ways:
enable universal leisure providers to offer the same choices and opportunities to all children and young people.
empower young people to develop new skills and qualities that promote inclusion.
enrich others with the skills and knowledge to overcome the barriers faced by disabled children and young people.
Out & About have the best team. Thanks to their help I can now get a bus to town to meet my friends more confidently by myself.
